The mission of OKC Metro Alliance is to assist Oklahomans who want to recover from substance abuse by providing long-term residential work recovery and to offer alternatives to incarceration through the operation of the Oklahoma City Public Inebriate Alternative program.
The organization's First Step Recovery program allows participants to attain employment through one of many partner organizations that work with OKC Metro Alliance including the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
First Step Recovery program graduate, Chris Eaton, was offered a full-time position with the RFBO after completing the treatment program and he has worked there as the Facility Services Manager ever since.
